Over 6% of CAMRA membership is under 30 and this proportion is growing. To promote CAMRA among the 18-30 age group, the Young Members Group was set up. Across the country we host pub crawls and Beer Festival working socials: a short session staffing behind the bar as an introduction to working at beer festivals followed by time socialising. These events are well attended with 30 attending at the working social at the National Winter Ales Festival 2008.
