Apart from the cost of installing a working fire alarm and emergency lighting the issues are managerial and should not present a major hurdle to Mr Hoyle, or anybody else, re-opening the premises as a pub.

LB Lewisham are less inclined that they were to allow pub to residential conversions, but vigilance is needed.</description>
